Gas work

 "Gas work" refers to any work involving the installation, maintenance, repair, or inspection of gas systems, typically for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes. This includes systems that use natural gas, propane (LPG), or other fuel gases for heating, cooking, or power generation

Licensing & Safety

 

  • gas work must always be done by a licensed gas fitter or plumber.
     
  • Unauthorized gas work is illegal and extremely dangerous.
     
  • Work must comply with local building codes and  by Technical Safety BC safety standards
